First impression on the road?

Usually, the uncertainty of having to remember many things all of a sudden: changing gears, pressing the clutch and accelerator, braking – it’s like playing multiple instruments at once. But don’t worry. You’ll get used to everything over time. The key is to stay calm and follow the instructor’s instructions. Do not be afraid that you will fail on the road in the eyes of other road users. You have an “L” sign on the roof so other drivers know you can make mistakes and drive very slowly. Someone will honk at you anyway? Don’t pay the slightest attention to it. He is certainly not a good driver.

For the first driving lesson, instructors choose less travelled roads, so you don’t have to worry about traffic congestion or complicated junctions. Regardless of what place you take your first steps as a driver, there is no fear that you will not be up to the task. The driving instructor is at all times and controls every move you make. Driving school cars have additional pedals installed in front of the passenger seat, thanks to which the driving teacher can stop the car in case of danger.

What else do you need to remember?

First of all, about asking, and asking again. Ask the instructor to explain all the questionable technical aspects of vehicle operation. Your driving instructor has the knowledge and competence to explain them to you. Are you ashamed to ask him and prefer to clarify your doubts on the public forum? This is not a good idea. You will likely get lots of conflicting answers. Apply consistently to one driving style taught by your instructor. Also remember that if your driving teacher does not suit you for any reason, you can always change it.
